Weekly 5 Product Review

H&M - Chin Chin

I absolutely love this eyeshadow, I've been wearing it so often over the last few weeks, especially with black eyeliner. This colour is light enough to wear on its own and has a lovely sparkle to it. The pigment is so good in this and I just love the packaging, will definitely be getting some more soon. They had so many different shades of nude and brown it will be so hard to choose.

Kiko - Radiant Touch Highlighter 101

So this highlighter is such a lovely colour, I use it so often and it is so blendable. Sometimes I find highlighters don't always want to blend it but this does so well, leaving your make up looking pretty flawless, and your face too except mine at the moment christmas time as given me a few spots thats always just so annoying.

Soap & Glory Highlighter

Going highlighter overboard this week. Two in one week is crazy. I do like this highlighter though it comes down so much lower than the Kiko one on my best highlighters list. I find the colour quite pinky for a highlighter. I like it on but I wouldn't say it is the most showy 'my face is highlighted' kind of look if that makes sense Damn I'm really bad at describing today, honestly I think I'm pretty worded out at the moment. I finally finished my dissertation and handed it in today, two days early which I'm pretty proud of. The next two days is relaxing before worrying over work again. AAArrrr back to highlighter getting off track a bit.

I was saying it isn't an obvious highlighter, I would almost say its a cross between a highlighter and a blush. Slightly too pale for a blush. I would recommend you swatch this in store before buying, it will be too pink for you if you want a sandy highlighter.

Soap & Glory - Trick and Treatment

I have used this for years now and its the best concealer I have ever had. Technically this isn't a concealer but its what I've used it for, its for your undereyes, to cover up your bags. It works great at it but also as a concealer for your whole face. It is rather pricey at £9 but I guess thats due to not actually being a concealer but it is the best concealer I have ever used. Also it is usually in 3 for 2 so price isn't so bad.

Too Faced - Carrie and Big blush and bronze duo

So I got this the other day from T K Maxx the other day as I have no willpower at all it turns out. I'll say that the blusher ok but I wasn't blown away by it. Its nothing special no Nars Orgasm sadly. Its just a pale peachy pink blusher that doesn't really do anything for my skin tone. The bronzer I do quite like, it is quite a pale bronzer that I think is great if you want that I'm not wearing make up look but secretly you have make up on. This is great for that if you want to look slightly tanned or sun kissed, which lets face it who doesn't?

Is this duo worth it just for the bronzer? I would say it depends on your budget, I got this for £9.99 from TK Maxx but for anywhere else for more money I would be less inclined to buy it, despite being a massive TooFaced fan. This is a let down.

Weekly 5 Product Review

I'm quite excited about this week's review.

Soap & Glory Supercat Liquid Eyeliner - So I have had this eyeliner for quite a while, especially as I hardly ever use eyeliner but today I got bored so tried this again. The first time I tried this I didn't really like it, so I guess I have changed as obviously it hasn't. I love this, I usually absolutely hate liquid eyeliner but OMG this is so great. It looked really sleek and was so easy to apply. So much better than pencils. I think I have finally been converted to liquid eyeliner, just a few years behind everyone else.

Ted Baker - Body Mist
So this one is the pink one as you can tell by having eyes and all. They did a green one that I thought looked so pretty but I preferred the smell of this one. Dammit smell winning. Anyway it says its got soft floral notes of jasmine and neroli, whilst the base of patchouli, sandalwood and musk. No idea what that means but thats the smell, all I know it that it smells so nice. I'm not really a perfume person, I've only ever wanted one perfume (Ralph Lauren Romance) which has been the only one I've pretty much worn except the Victoria Secrets one that I've mentioned on this blog but my friend gave that to me. I guess thats made me think oh I can have different scents. Bad that it took this long for me to notice but oh well. Anyway I'm not a massive fan of overpowering perfume and so would rather use body mists instead. Also its a lot cheaper! This was £7 I think and you can get many cheaper than this as its Ted Baker, whilst perfumes are or mine is like £50.  Budget winning!

Liz Earle - Soothing Eye Lotion
Honestly love this, lately I have been spending most of my time on my computer and my eyes feel tired so often. I've been using this to sooth them and it works so well. After writing this I'm off to use it again. This is now an essential for me. Holidays, events, days out I will be using this.

Bioderma - Make-up Removing Micelle Solution
This I got last week for free with my birchbox, I would never go out to buy this but I used this today and it is great. Its really soft and gentle to the skin, I usually like using creamy solutions as I feel its gentler to my face but this has left my face feel quite nice and soft. I will definitely be using this up, it looks like it will last a while, but I'm not sure that I will buy this myself but I will let you know when I'm further through it.

Pixi - Shea Butter Lip Balm in Honey Nectar
I love this colour, it is a nude but the look on my lips against my skin just looks really nice. God Im bad at describing. It has a nice slight brown tint to it that looks nice against me when I'm all horrible and pale without a tan. Sad times. But it also feels so nourishing on. If this ever runs out I will be running to go get myself another one.

That's the end of this weeks one, though tomorrow I will be doing a review of The Balm Voyage Palette, I wanted to put it in a weekly review but as its a palette thought it would make this a bit too long.

I hope you have liked this post and hope to see you again tomorrow and please subscribe:)

Weekly 5 Product Review

This weeks review is beauty based.

No 7 Naturally Sunkissed Body Lotion- I know that I talked about this when I got it but don't think I have since (sorry if I have) well I just love this lotion I'm about half way through it now. I wouldn't say that it makes me look tanned as such. This isn't a fake tan but has made me look sun kissed. This lotion is normally £10 with is rather pricey but my student budget (I had a five pound voucher, so got 50% off). I would buy this again but wouldnt be making this my everyday body lotion but will use it when I want that sun kissed look in winter. Side note the smell is pretty nice I wouldn't say it is really scented which is good some lotions smell too much for me, especially the ones you get to make you look tanned usually have a horrible smell you can't get rid of.

Bed Head Self Absorbed Shampoo - I bought this really recently so have only used a few times so far but I am just so impressed. The amount of shampoos that I have used that say they nourish your hair and don't is ridiculous. This shampoo has quite a strong orange smell to it which I am okay with as I love oranges, but even if you aren't that keen on the smell I would still try this shampoo, after using this my hair feels silky and not dry at all with is amazing because after bleaching it to blonde a couple of months back Ive tried so many things to get it back to normal and this works so much better than anything else I have tried. I got this in the sale at B&M for £4.99 which is ridiculous given how much they normally cost. It is save to say I will be going to B&M hoping they still have some left.

Charles Worthington Moisture Seal Mineral Hair Rescue Mask - I am about a third through this tub and it is great, especially after using the shampoo above. Softest hair has felt in ages. Unlike many hair mask this one only stays on for a minute which is much better. I have no idea how it works so well in such a little time but this I will be using at least once a week from now on. Would definitely say to go and buy this, the price is pretty cheap compared to other hair masks.

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Primer - I really like this primer, I wasn't too sure when I bought it but I have loved everything I have bought for Soap & Glory pretty much. I would say that this primer is most like Laura Mercier's Foundation Primer, in terms of the texture, quite wet feel to it, it glides over your face smoothly leaving your skin soft. It keeps my make up on all day which is hard to find with oily skin. I love this primer but I wouldn't say its as good as Benefits but this is considerably cheaper and more affordable. I feel as though this will be my everyday primer and Benefits will be my special going out primer. But would definitely say to go and check out this primer if you are looking for a new one at a cheapish price.

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Foundation - this is the second ever only item from Soap & Glory that I haven't loved. The foundation is a liquid to powder formula and this just doesn't agree with me. Usually I have a liquid foundation on with powder foundation over the top, that sets my foundation in really well.  This foundation was too powdery for me and felt myself seeing parts of my face looking streaky and powdery from the foundation, this is due to my oily skin. I need that liquid foundation as a base. I have been mixing this foundation in with my sephora foundation and it works perfectly well but on its own it just isn't for me. If you have an oily complexion I wouldn't get this foundation.

I hope you have enjoyed reading this post, I have noticed I've written quite a bit. Sorry if its too much reading for you.

What foundations have you been trying?

5 Product Weekly Review

Honestly these products have become my favourite beauty products at the moment, I just love them so much.

The earcuff is from Forever 21 and is just so pretty on, even though one of the gems has fallen out. It is also really comfortable to my ear, I got one from Miss Selfridge the other day and it is just painful to my ear after an hour.

Nails Inc - I swear half of my collection is Nails Inc, the other half being Essie. This is a colour I have wanted for ages, a lovely pale grey and it is just so much nicer than I could of imagined. Its called the Southbank, which is funny as thats one of my favourite parts of london. Anyway back to the nail varnish, I love Nails Inc as they always last so much longer than most and think I managed to go nearly 3 days before I chipped them! Honestly this colour is just perfect for autumn and winter is you don't want a wow bright colour. I mean its a nice subtle colour.

Too Faced Amazing Face Foundation - Okay it is official my Benefit some kinda gorgeous has been replaced at the top spot. This foundation is not only the perfect colour for me but the coverage is amazing. It's feels lovely and light not heavy at all and it lasts all day, and the coverage is really good. My face is pretty spotty and blotchy at the moment and this foundation covers it so well that I need pretty much no concealer except for around my eyes. Also it doesn't make my skin feel itchy and oily with is a great bonus and quite a few do after 5 or 6 hours. Need this foundation forever, also it is making me really want to try their Born this Way.

Benefit Air Patrol BB Eyelid Primer- I love this product so much I have also been using it for coverage under my eyes covering the puffyness and it has worked a dream. This product full sized is rather pricey but I might just have to get it, though I will try my sample of Puff Off first.

Lastly is a product from H&M's new beauty range, I went to their pop up shop in Brick Lane and this eyeshadow was one of the products I picked up. Its in the shade Chin Chin, it is a lovely sparkly champagne taupe colour. Its such a high pigmented eyeshadow that I might have to get a palette soon. The packaging of it is also just so gorgeous that even if I hated this eyeshadow I would keep it in my make up bag.

Do you like the look of any of these products?

Cheerio:) till next time

5 Weekly Product Reviews | 30th July 2015

By a miracle none of the products are make up, though there is a make up brush. :O ( shocked face).

So this amazing brush is actually massive, saw it and was wow that is big so had to have it. Whats even better than its size is just have soft it is. I can't describe it but its just really light and soft.

My next thing I've been loving this week is this mint green bow, now obviously anything thats mint green will go into my favourite things. If you've checked out my bow hair post you will of already seen this but I just love it so very much.

My Liz Earle Cleanser is something that I've been loving for a good few months now but its just so amazing and it seems to be keeping my face a lot clearer than usual. I'm thinking I might do a full Review on this soon along with a tonic and my other daily skincare items, let me know if you would like this?

This is yet another item that I have been using for quite a few months now is this Soap & Glory Heel Genius and it is a miracle. I do quite a lot of walking so the bottom of my feet has always been really horrible and rough with a lot of dead skin, I used to use a pedegg but since I've started using this I don't need to do anything else to my feet. I put it on before I go to sleep and just wait about 15-30 minutes for it to sink in before going to sleep.

It has worked miracles on my heels I no longer need to use anything else and the dead skin has gone and my heels are nice and smooth for the first time in years, obviously the skin is still quite hard due to my walking but it is okay to look at now without disgusting me.

If you need something like this, go out and get this now!!

Now this is my favourite at the moment due to it literally saving my hair, I have done a full review of it over in my july favourites, click here.

I hope you liked this post and don't forget to come back tomorrow as currently doing a post a day.

My First Beauty Product Weekly Review

Every week on thursday-saturday I will try to do a product review post, hopefully of around five. So welcome to the first one.

These are five products that I have tested out today and been wearing for a full seven hours no touch ups.

Now this is the first product, it is Sephora Skin Perfect CC Cream. Now whilst this felt really nice and light on my face, it has a very light coverage, granted it doesn't have an orange or yellow tint to it, but thats better than low coverage. It left my skin feeling really nice and soft but didn't cover up my under eyes at all and next to nothing on spots and pores.
I had to wear a fair amount of concealer to help cover up these areas. Overall I don't think CC cream is for me if this is anything to go by. Fair enough if your skin is flawless to start with then go ahead and be my guest. I like the most of us have flaws and this doesn't cover it.

Now this Sephora Coral Flush Blusher is my new best friend, you can't see it but it has a lovely glimmer to it like Nars Orgasm and I think is a great cheaper alternative. You may need to layer it on a bit thicker than Nars but the shade is very similar just slightly lighter.
This powder is so light it doesn't feel like you're wearing anything, but once again layer it on a bit thicker as it is less pigmented as other blushers such as Nars ones.
The end result is that I love this blusher and will be wearing it a lot more and saving my Nars one as it has become my everyday go to one, a bit pricey.
This Cargo HydraBronze I have had for a while but put off using it as I'm totally in love with my too faced one. The scent is not as nice as too faced but not unpleasant just a make up smell. I found I was quite happy with this bronzer as it wasn't as dark as I thought it would be, saying that though it was no too faced bronzer, it lasted wellish I guess.
I would say this is an average bronzer it is good but I found nothing special about it.
Now this eyeshadow is amazing, sorry about the photo, I couldn't get the right lighting for it. It is a lovely glimmer bronze colour. It is Kiko Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow 8 hours, and it does last the full eight hours, well longer now. I was really surprised by this, and the colour is just gorgeous and it is so easy to apply onto the eyelid.
I think the packaging is great and you can pop it into you handbag and apply it easily if you ever need to touch up.
I am definitely going to get more of these as they are amazing!!

This is the last product, Make Up Forever Smokey Extravagant Mascara, I found that I love this mascara. Not only does it separate the lashes amazing well but makes them look so long and dainty, yes thats right dainty. Makes me feel I have perfect lashes like dolls. Also this mascara is a lovely black and lasts really well all day, even though I did rub my eye.

I will definitely be buying this as soon as I'm lower on mascaras so I better start using.

I hope you enjoyed this and feel free to ask any questions incase I missed anything you want to know.
