30th September Diary Blog Entry

So this month has gone by so quickly and not only has this month been short of blog posts but also of my little diary entries and I really want to keep this blog going.

Well I'm now back up at uni to finish off my final year thinking finally I will have the time to find out my dissertation's draft is due in just under 10 weeks. So my idea went out my head.

I will try to keep this blog up to date as much as possible with new posts but will be slower than I'd like. Annoying as have so many posts planned out but not finished yet...

So my life now involves sitting on my bed with books and articles all around me.

Hope to see you again soon:)

Product Empties

So the time has come for another empties post, finally I can declutter all my old empties to be filled up with more again.

The first things I have recently used up is Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. Absolutely love this product and don't think I will be going back to any other facial skincare products.

These skincare Soap & Glory products are ones that I have finally used up, they are really good.

Night in shining Armour Cream is a night moisturiser and it lovely on the skin but I'm not too big a fan of the scent. I have not repurchased this as am now trying Liz Earles range though Liz Earle is more pricey. If on a low budget in future by go back to this product. (was £11 I think but also in 3 for 2 so about £8).

Peaches and Clean is what I have used to take my make up off for ages as is really gentle to the skin. I have repurchased this as I still like to make my make up off before I use Liz Earles (only if that day am wearing a lot of make up).

Body wash is something I get through rather quickly and have a big collection in my room waiting. This FCUK one I have had for ages, it was nice but not my favourite so kept using other ones at the same time. It is grapefruit scented but found I preferred The Body Shop's Grapefruit body wash.

Soap and Glory Daily Smooth Body Butter this product I did love but found I got through it rather quickly, a month. This is due to using a fair sized amount to cover your body. Am unsure if will repurchase this just because of how quickly it was used up as other Soap & Glory ones usually last me about 2 months or so.

Aussie products I have been in love with for ages and always find myself coming back to them. The Miracle Moist range is the latest one I have tried and fell completely in love with. Not repurchased yet but will do when shampoo collection goes down.

Radox Muscle Soak Bath Salts I have found I prefer to  the bubble bath it is lovely and soothing as well as making your bath blue. For only 99p its a bargain and has been repurchased.

Sadly this is the end of the empties, obviously more will be up soon.

I hope you liked this and see you again soon.:)

Birchbox at Selfridges

So the other day I went up to London for my birthday, so just had to go into Selfridges to get the Birchbox.

Not only is the box so beauty but you get to pick the products you want from quite a big collection.

You get to choice two beauty products (make up), 1 skincare, 1 body care, 1 hair care and 1 beauty treat. Below is my choice.

Lets start with the make up

The two products that I chose was Benefit's Air Patrol BB Cream Eyelid Primer which is their new product that have been desperate to try out.

The other is Lord & Berry 20100 Shiny Crayon Lipstick in Fire, which is a lovely red.

Moving on to Skincare and Body care...

My skincare product was Caudal Make Up Removing Cleansing Oil which just sounds amazing and such a great size.

Body care I picked Rituals Honey Touch Body Cream, which smells amazing.

Lastly haircare and Beauty Treat

The Haircare product I got was Bumble and Bumble Don't Blow It, as I have wanted to try one of their products for so long now.

The Beauty Treat I picked was This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray

As I'm subscribed to Birchbox I got this two extras as a gift, A pencil sharpener (for makeup) and eye mask.

Do you like any of the products I picked up?

Hope to see you again soon:)

Latest in Beauty Haul

So I might of gone a little bit crazy when ordering beauty boxes the other day (got there...) oops. So below are the links to each boxes as too much for just one post.

Enjoy :)

As well as getting the boxes I also picked up these two products.

Kiss The Moon Love After Dark Bath Oil with I thought would be nice to try out as hardly ever have baths (don't worry I do wash just showers).

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Blow Dry Lotion as I am always trying to give my hair volume though never actual blow dry my hair thought be nice to try.

Well I hope you like the beauty boxes and hope to see you again soon.

Latest in Beauty Get the Gloss Beauty Box

Click here to see the other two beauty boxes I bought from Latest in Beauty.

I'd been looking at this beauty box for a while before it went into the sale so instantly bought it.

I think it was a combination of the nail varnish and the blusher, as I really wanted to try both and was cheaper than buying both at boots. All the other products I wasn't really familiar with but was willing to try them out.

The Blush is Bourjois Aqua Blush, didn't know how a liquid blusher would work but thought it was bound to be nice as it was by Bourjois. This one is shade 03 Pink Twice despite the packaging isn't too bright and blends in really well to give a subtle hint to the cheeks.

Will definitely be using this a lot but slightly scared as now want the whole selection of colours they do.

The Nails Inc Varnish is in colour Regents Palace, the blue shade is so gorgeous feel could wear it forever more. (just what I needed another blue varnish...)

Salon Science Hydrasoothe Cooling Spray I had never heard of before but don't really think I need as my scalp isn't distressed but I will still try it out to see. Might be was in distress and just never noticed.

Philip Kingsleu Swimcap is a product I already have a miniature of but haven't tried due to no holiday this year but really excited to try this out and see what I think of it as the sea does dry my hair out a lot.

Elemental Herbology Cell Pumping Facial Hydrator- don't really need this but will try it but am not too keen on the smell as is quite strong.

Anne Semolina The Ultimate `solution for Dark Circles and Puffiness - this sounds quite complicated to use as need to use an ice cube along with this product so not too sure I will be trying this anytime soon, have to wait for eyes to go really puffy (though probably be due to being ill).

These are the last two products in this box.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Or - Cant even pronounce this product but think it is just like a body shimmer lotion which will be quite nice.

Lastly Aurelia Refine & polish Miracle Balm this product sounds quite good and will be using pretty soon to see if its any good.

Thanks for reading and hope to see you again soon.

Glamour Summer Edit Beauty Box

Click here for other beauty boxes I got from latest in beauty (does open in new window)

This box was a final thought when ordering off latest in beauty I liked the look of the products but unlike the other two I wasn't in love with anything in it, I guess the Pixi Glow Tonic was the main point but that was it.

Gold temporary tattoos were the first thing in this box, they are nice enough but still have loads left from other beauty boxes. Way more than one needs.

Caudalie Divine Oil sounds really nice though as it can work as so many different things have to decide how to use this.

Eucerin Sun Care - I didn't realise the suncream was a full size product but I'm not complaining can always do with more suncream. Especially if like me you burn a lot.

These L'occitante Shampoo and Conditioner look so cute and great for a weekend away but building up so many more, really need to go away.

Balance Me Super Toning Body Polish can't wait to use this as do love Balance Me products only problem is they are rather pricey.

Now one of the main attractions of this box the Pixi Glow Tonic, I can't wait to use this and am sure will love it. Only heard good things about it.

Nails Inc swear every box I got came with one (they did) though this ones colour is nice it isn't one I would pick up like with the other two (or already did pick up in one case). The Shade is Covent Garden Place and is a lovely pink.

Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon - looks lovely and sure will be great on but just can't seem to get excited about this product.

Lastly Is Vita Liberata Trystal Minerals - this product did intrigue me as is self tanning. Cant wait to see if it works, just hope face doesn't look too tanned compared to rest of me.

Hope you liked this post and check out capital beauty box and the get the gloss box.

Hope to see you again soon.

Capital Best of Summer Beauty Box

Click here to view my other latest in beauty purchases (i.e. beauty boxes)

This box was the one that I was most looking forward to and had been thinking about for ages when it suddenly went it sale so just bought it.

So enough talk show me whats in the box already....

Malin & Goetz Trio - a cleanser, moisturiser and lip balm I hadn't heard of this brand but can always do with more moisturiser can't we.

Hawaiien Trop Satin Protection - This is my favourite sun cream ever! It's just like coconut body butter but also sun cream so the smell is gorgeous and is the sun cream I already use.

Carmex Moisture Plus Lip Balm in Berry - I do like some of carmen things but never really been massive about them but will try.

I Love...Perfectly Peachy- shower Creme looks pretty nice it has to be said but am very loyal to body shop and soap and glory...

dr.organic dead sea mask minerals bio-plasma mud mask - I actually already own this but have only used once due to not like mud or clay masks. But works really well.

Fudge Urban Hair Art Sprays- I actually can't wait to use this as my hair is now blonde will be great to put on the ends.

COLAB Sheer & Invisible Paris Floral Fragrance - now do love my dry shampoo so hopefully will love this but when my hair needs it, usually its flat as well so use a volume one but will see.

Nail Inc Soho Place - Me being the idiot I am actually went out and bought this exact colour by them only a week before this arrived so now own two that haven't used yet, but think that tells you that I love this colour.

MUA Mega Volume Mascara - you may know I own quite a few mascaras (64 or 65 now I think...) and so I can't wait to try this one out.
ps. as a side note I will be starting a new series of blog posts from next week, Mascara of the Week when every week will be trying a mascara and do a full review of it.

MUA Eyeshadow Palette - Do like this but don't know if I'm brave enough, furtherest I do is shimmery nudes and browns...

Sadly this is the end of this beauty box and this post but will let you know how I get on with the products and have also just finish a post on the Glamour summer beauty box and the get the gloss beauty box so go check them out.:)

See you again soon thanks for reading

September 2015 Birchbox UK

Yesterday my birch box arrived and had 7 products in. 7!!!!

I really loved this months box, some months I think I don't really like anything but this box looks amazing.

To start this month off there is a sample of Laura Mercier Facial Polish which I can't wait to try out but at £26 for full size I don't think I can afford it just yet.

Next is Benefits License to Blot which I can't wait to try out I do love Benefit so much (almost as much as TooFaced) and always have problems with my pores so be good to see how well this works for me.

Beauty Protector Beauty Wash was next in my box and I have to say I have loved the last sample that Birchbox did by them so can't wait to try it out thought not sure if it can beat my Body Shop one.

John Masters Organics Citrus Neroli Detangler is pretty much a god send to me at the moment with the condition of my hair it keeps getting knotty, hopefully this will help though usually my hair doesn't tangle much so don't really think worth getting in the future unless its amazing and better than all the other hair products I've tried. Which there are far too many of to say the least.

Laqa & Co Cheeky Lip Pencil in Cray- Cray it looks like a nice colour but I'm still not really into lip products at the moment. Get really annoyed about this as I'll get all dolled up and just put the pink vaseline on my lips, I know needs to change but still trying to get lipsticks to go with my outfits.

Whish cc Body Cream which is the extra you get for emailing 5 friends about birch box.

The Birchbrush is the last thing in this months box and I am so happy with it, the size is so great I can take it away on weekends as smaller than my detangler.

Thats the end of this months box, I hope you liked what was in this months box as much as me.

Hope to see you soon:)

My Liz Earle Order

So yesterday I had three deliveries arrive for me, very unusual and make me feel quite rich (for all of five minutes).

Honestly I can't say what parcel I was more excited about receiving, but this post is about my Liz Earle delivery so lets get started.

It is quite short as I only ordered one thing (well a set of 4 things) and some small trial samples that came free.

This is the set that I bought.

The first two things are my usual purchases the cleanse and polish and Skin Tonic (also two cloths can with it but already used them...couldn't help myself).

Next was the Superskin Moisturiser with I had been eyeing up for a while now but the price tag put me off a little. Especially as I am still yet to try the normal Liz Earle one yet (still working way through some Soap & Glory ones).

But as it came as part of the set I convinced myself to try this out and I'll be sure to tell you about it soon enough. But pretty excited about this.

Next is this Botanical Shine Nourishing Hair Oil that I really want to try out especially since the Telegraphs article on Hair Masks. This product I have actually already tried out despite only arriving yesterday and was so excited to try it out. Especially as my hair is really dried out at the moment due to changing hair colours and I have to tell you that this product is amazing.

I won't say anymore as this post isn't about reviewing this and want to try it out a few more times first but my hair is so much softer and shinier.

Now onto the free samples that came with my order....
who doesn't love a free sample..

Will do the sample from left to right as easiest

The first sample it Botanical Essence No. 20. I am really picky with perfume but it smells nice though might be a bit too strong for me but will try it out.

Next is Orange Flower Botanical Body Wash which smells so nice (so much better than the Soap and Glory Orangeasm that I'm using at the moment - the scent is a bit too strong).

Next you can probably tell is just a mini travel size Skin Tonic which I can save for if but hopefully when I go away.

Lastly ia the Superskin Face Serum which I have been seeing everywhere lastly (maybe be on Liz Earle Website too much) and it looks amazing but the price is a bit too steep for me at the moment still being a student. But will let you know what I think.

Well that is it for this post sadly but I must really love what I got as have written this so quickly.

Really hope you like this post and let me know if you use any Liz Earle products, really like the look of the eye brightening but still debating about it.

August Favourites

Now being the end of the month I have come to realise I haven't really thought about this months favourites, so just thought about the products I have used the most and so here is the list. Some might have been mentioned before I am sure.

The first item is this skater style denim skirt that I have just been loving this month as it is so summery and goes so well with all my summer tops. The skirt is from Miss Selfridge, though I'm not sure how long ago as I bought it on eBay last year.

Moving onto nails next, there are two items I have been loving. To start is the OPI nail strengthener as I started to notice my nails were getting slightly weak, I started applying this a couple of times a week and have really noticed the difference in my nails. Mine is a miniature but rest assured when it runs out I will rush out for a full size of this product.

The next nail product is of course a nail varnish and surprise surprise it is an Essie Nail Varnish, a lovely Lilac shade called Lilacism.

Next is on to hair, the first is Toni and Guy Sea Salt Spray, I have wanted to try a sea salt spray for ages and bought this at least 6 weeks ago but have only just started to really use this. I use this instead of hair spray as I dont tend to style my hair at the moment so just plait it at night and brush in the morning then use this spray and my hair looks great for the whole day.

I have since also bought Bleach Sea Salt spray but have yet to try it out.

Next hair product is John Frieda Go Blonder lightning spray, as currently trying to lighten my hair as much as possible. It has worked really well and have bought another three whilst they are still on offer in boots. Use it with the shampoo and conditioner to get the full effect.

Now lastly is an item I know I have mentioned at least once before but have been using a lot this month is Victoria's Secret Pure Daydream perfume. I find it lasts really well and don't need to put much of this on. It is rather a bit cheaper than my normal perfume but am thinking of using this in the future due to the massive price difference and the smell of course...

I hope you have enjoyed my list of favourites and feel free to let me know if you have tried any or any similar:)

Hope to see you again soon
